Today I analyzed all call tariffs by major telecoms in Nigeria (MTN, Glo, Airtel and Etisalat) and bring you the cheapest call rates available. These call rates below are prevalent as at the time of this post, however it could change anytime, but I will try as much as possible to be updating this page.

MTN SmoothTalk Plus is the cheapest prepaid tariff plan on MTN Network, offers flat rate of 15 kobo/second for calls ACROSS ALL local Networks after the first minute of the day at 40 kobo per second.
Also customers get Free 10MB weekly on N100 recharge, FREE Happy Hour calls to MTN numbers from 00.30am to 04:30 every day (including weekends) as long as you have minimum balance of N100 in your account at 00:30. SMS rate is N4.

  1. It’s a lie, airtel and glo are the cheapest with 11k/sec to all network. Mtn is the most expensive. Do your research again.
