I can’t remember the last time I bought a physical recharge card. By just dialing some short codes on your mobile phone, you can top up your airtime as much as #5000 Naira within a day. Gone are the days you will be stranded because of having no where to purchase a recharge card/pin. On the other hand, if your boyfriend or girlfriend is reading this, that means you can’t give excuse of “no where to by airtime” to them anymore when they ask for airtime.

This is a service that allows you to top-up your mobile line directly and instantly by dialing a short code from your mobile phones. The value is deducted from your Bank account while the same value is credited to the your mobile line without extra charges.

Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) Recharge Code
For quick self-recharge, dial *737*amount# and SEND from your mobile phone (This must be the from the mobile number registered in your account). E.g. *737*1000#

  2. A correction please, Skye Bank’s USSD code for airtime top-up is *833*Amount# only from the mobile number registered on your account.

  4. GTB top-up for other numbers is a scam! it keeps telling me that i have exceeded N20,000.00 limit! like really?!# Who recharges up to that amount? Na only N500.00 i dey try recharge oh!! Abeg Ino try for me. How i go dey do??

    1. The easiest option is to lock your phone with a password or PIN. Another option is to call Your bank’s customer service line to change your recharge pin. To change or reset your USSD recharge pin on diamond bank call 118. For heritage bank call +234-1-236-9000
