1) Start a small business pages publication to cover the businesses in your city. 2) Offer reciprocal marketing advice to businesses; This entails finding businesses in need of more customers (every business does) and linking them up with another remotely related business in need of more customers as well. You only need to get them to refer customers to each other and collect your consulting fee.

3) Help businesses create cheap, marketing campaigns for businesses and charge them for your services. When I was setting out newly in business I knew so much about marketing and I needed to make money fast so I leveraged on my marketing knowledge and sent out a free marketing report tagged “Five marketing tips your competitors would never want you to know.” The next day I got calls from a clothing store owner and a restaurant.
