Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo used to be the most expensive Nigerian player following his €23.3m million from Watford to Chinese Super League side Changchun Yatai till Kelechi Iheanacho following his move to Leicester City from Manchester City for a fee of around £25million In July 2017. The young Nigeria striker is currently the most expensive Nigeria player.

1. Kelechi Iheanacho.
The 20-year-old striker recently completed a move to Leicester City from English giants Manchester City for around £25million to join them in the current 2017/2018 season. Leicester and Man City have had a fee agreed since the start of July but the deal was delayed due to a legal tussle between Iheanacho’s former and current agents over his image rights.
2. Odion Ighalo.
